Why is it worth it?
Therapy for children and adolescents is an opportunity to build a solid emotional foundation for the future. Young patients learn to recognize and express their emotions, develop a sense of self-worth, and build healthy relationships with their environment. In a safe, supportive space, they can look at their difficulties, understand themselves better, and find ways to cope with the challenges of everyday life.
It is an investment in well-being and development that brings real changes — here and now, and in later stages of life.
Good to know:
➤ The effectiveness of online and in-person therapy is comparable – both forms of work are available for children and teenagers.
➤ Regardless of the chosen therapeutic approach, it is possible to conduct therapy both online and in the office.
➤ There is also the option of hybrid therapy – meetings can take place alternately (e.g. some visits in the office, some remotely).
In the case of younger patients, it is particularly important to adapt the form of therapy to their age, temperament and level of development. The pace of work, goals and method of conducting meetings are determined individually – taking into account the involvement of parents or guardians.
The most important thing is to build a relationship in which the child feels safe, accepted and treated with attention.
