Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
What is an EAP?
The Employee Assistance Program is a professional employee support program that provides employees with access to psychological, counseling and, if necessary, crisis assistance, funded by the employer.
Its main goal is to respond early to problems that may affect job performance, safety, motivation and satisfaction with their duties.
The scope of the EAP may include, but is not limited to:
Psychological consultations - in-person or online, confidential and easily accessible.
Crisis intervention - in emergency situations (e.g., severe stress, loss of a loved one, workplace incidents).
Executive support - consulting on conflict resolution, communication and building mental resilience in teams.
Additional areas of support - such as coping with addictions, family problems or adapting to change.
While EAP is not a substitute for full psychological therapy or psychotherapy, it can make a significant contribution to improving well-being, reducing stress and facilitating the decision to pursue further therapeutic work.
Employee support - Why is the EAP needed?
Employer's perspective
Implementing an EAP is an investment in the stability and efficiency of an organization. Studies show that every zloty spent on a support program can save up to several times that amount by reducing absenteeism, reducing workplace accidents and improving employee retention.
Benefits to the company include:
Reduce the cost of sickness absence and replacements.
Reduce employee turnover by building loyalty and a sense of security.
Improve performance and engagement by reducing stressors.
Strengthen the employer's image in the eyes of current and potential employees.
The employee's perspective
The EAP gives the employee a real sense that his or her mental health and well-being is a priority for the company. Easy access to psychological help, without cost or paperwork, increases willingness to seek help early on in a problem.
Online and in-person EAP meetings
At PsycheClinic, we provide flexible access to help:
stationary in Warsaw - Bemowo - in modern offices, with convenient access

This allows employees to choose the form of the meeting that best suits their needs and capabilities.
How does the EAP work at PsycheClinic?
Our program is fully customizable - we select solutions according to organizational culture, industry specifics and number of employees. The implementation process includes:
Needs analysis - together with representatives of the company we determine the scope and form of support.
Signing a framework agreement - clearly defining the terms of confidentiality, the number of sessions and the method of billing.
Provision of informational materials - employees are given clear instructions on how and when they can use the assistance.
Realization of consultations - in the office in Warsaw or online, in Polish and English.
Aggregate reporting - periodic reports (without personal data) that allow the company to monitor the level of program usage and identify areas that need attention.
