Marcin Ignaczak
CBT Psychotherapist
Marcin Ignaczak, MA
Specialization
I am a psychologist and therapist working in the cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach. I provide therapy for adolescents from the age of 12, adults, and seniors, in Polish and English.
About me
I am a graduate of psychology from SWPS University. I gained clinical experience in hospitals, crisis intervention centers, and university cognitive-behavioral therapy clinics. For several years, I have been running a private therapy practice in Warsaw's Bemowo district. At the same time, I collaborate with companies such as Google, Citi Group, Deloitte, Bosch, Siemens, and Lidl, providing psychological support to employees as part of EAP programs.
How I work
The focus of my work is to genuinely improve the client's well-being by setting and achieving specific therapeutic goals.
In my therapeutic work, I emphasize:
patient engagement,
regular monitoring of progress,
homework assignments and active participation in the change process.
When working with young people, I place great importance on collaboration with parents, and when necessary, also with the school, guardians, or other specialists from the patient's environment. I believe in the value of a positive approach, a sense of humor, and positive reinforcement, which can make therapy not only effective but also less emotionally burdensome.
