Session Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

To ensure the best experience for everyone involved in the therapeutic process and to respect our specialists' time, PsycheClinic adheres to the following policy.

1) The 48-Hour Rule

  • You can reschedule or cancel your session up to 48 hours before your originally scheduled appointment.

  • If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before your session, you will be charged for the session, regardless of whether you attend.

    • If you prepaid, the fee is non-refundable.

    • If you did not prepay, you will be required to pay the session fee.

2) How to Cancel or Reschedule

  • The quickest way to do this is through the booking panel (the same one you used to book the appointment).

  • We also accept cancellations or rescheduling via email or phone. The time of receipt of the notification will be counted relative to the originally scheduled session time (it must be ≥48 hours before the session).

3) Exceptional Circumstances and Health Issues

  • Sudden events (e.g., acute health incidents, accidents) will be considered on a case-by-case basis, following a brief description of the situation and prompt contact.

  • The decision to waive the 48-hour rule rests with PsycheClinic. We will make this decision after considering the circumstances, schedule availability, and previous cooperation, always with fairness and the continuity of the therapeutic process in mind.

4) If We Cancel – An Additional Free Session

If PsycheClinic cancels your session due to organizational reasons or therapist unavailability, you are entitled to one additional, free session at an agreed-upon time, provided that:

  • all client-side conditions have been met, in particular, the session has been paid for on time in accordance with the accepted payment rules,

  • the booking was made correctly, and the client has no outstanding payments,

  • the client has not violated the booking conditions (e.g., late payments or other formal deficiencies).

The additional session will be the same type and length as the canceled one (e.g., 50 min individual / 90 min couples), cannot be exchanged for cash, and should be used within 30 days.

5) Why This Is Important

  • A reserved appointment that is not canceled in time cannot be used by other clients. The 48-hour rule ensures fair access to support and respects the time of our specialists.
